Denver Police Still Searching for Driver in Hit-And-Run Fatality
September 26, 2012
Denver police are looking for the driver of a gray or silver 1987 to 1989 Toyota Camry involved in the death of 32-year-old Laura McDermott. The car suffered a broken signal light and significant damage to the driver's side, including a shattered windshield.
The car, determined to be driving around 65 miles per hour (mph) in a 30 mph zone, hit the woman around 1 a.m. Sunday morning. Because of the speed the car was traveling, witnesses have been unable to give more definite descriptions of the accident.
The Denver Post has more information.
