Diamond
Glass Changes Name to DG Liquidation Corp., Court Documents Report
Diamond Glass has changed its named to DG Liquidation Corp., effective
June 30, according to court documents filed in the case. In addition,
the company has motioned that the caption of its bankruptcy case officially
be changed to: "In re: DG LIQUIDATION CORP., et al."
The name change is part of Diamond's purchase agreement with Belron US,
which had the winning bid at the June 19 auction, prior to the closing
of the sale on June 30.
"The change in Debtors' caption is necessary to effectuate the Belron
[Asset Purchase Agreement (APA)] and is, indeed a condition of the Belron
APA as approved by the Court," reads the motion. "Accordingly,
for the foregoing reasons, the Debtors submit that it is necessary and
appropriate and in the best interest of their estates, creditors and other
parties-in-interest to modify the caption of the Debtors' case
