 
DOT Number Awarded to Canadian Company

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) recently awarded a
new DOT number to an auto glass-related product manufacturer based
in Canada.
DOT No. 1004 was awarded to Demers Ambulance Manufacturer Inc.
of Beloeil, Quebec.
The company was founded in 1892 and built custom-made buggies,
carriages, hearses, ambulances and casket wagons, according to Demers'
website.
Today it manufactures ambulances and has sold more than 15,000
to customers in more than 20 countries in North America, Latin America,
the Middle East, Africa and Europe, the site continues.
