Gerber Tech Competes at AGTO for First Time

Gerber Collision & Glass will be represented at the Fourth Annual Auto Glass Technician Olympics by Ricardo Perez, a senior technician from the company's branch in Skokie, Ill.

Perez is a first-time competitor in the AGTO and has 10 years auto glass experience. He's been with Gerber since 1999.

"We are honored to have Ricardo participate in the 2008 Technician Olympics. We believe that his participation will highlight the high standards of technical expertise and professionalism of our team," says Gerber chief executive officer Eddie Cheskis. "The Olympics showcase the importance of auto glass safety and installation standards that we are proud to provide to our customers each and every day."

The AGTO will be held November 7-8, 2008, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

The AGTO is held as part of Auto Glass Week in Las Vegas, in conjunction with the Auto Glass Expo at NACE, the International Auto Glass Safety (AGRSS) Conference, the IGA's Fall Marketing Conference, the National Windshield Repair Association's (NWRA) Annual Conference, and the Third Annual Walt Gorman Memorial Windshield Repair Olympics (WRO).
