NYC
September 9, 2011
Marv Degerness, owner of the Glass Doctor of Fargo/Moorhead, Minn.
franchise, will sing at "A Concert of Commemoration,"
a memorial event commemorating the tenth anniversary of the 9/11
terrorist attacks, at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts
in New York City on Sunday, September 11, at 2 p.m.
Degerness is one of 40 members of The Master Chorale of Fargo-Moorhead
performing René Clausen's Memorial. The 40 Chorale members
will join 260 additional choir members from across the United States
and a 75-piece orchestra for the performance at the Lincoln Center's
Avery Fisher Hall.
"It hasn't hit me yet," says Degerness. "I'm sure
once I get going it'll be exciting, but I can't think about it too
much at this point."
Degerness has been a member of the Chorale for 22 years.
