Glass Doctor Names Mississippi Franchise Owner as Franchisee of the Year

Brad Roberson, owner of a Glass Doctor franchise in Brookhaven, Miss., recently was honored as the 2010 Glass Doctor franchisee of the year during parent company The Dwyer Group®'s 2011 meeting. The event was held October 19-22 at the Indianapolis JW Marriott in Indianapolis.

"This is the highest honor given to a Glass Doctor franchisee," says Glass Doctor president Mark Dawson. "Brad epitomizes the term 'growth.' He and his team have excelled despite economic and personal challenges."

The franchisee of the year award is presented to the franchisee who has consistently grown his business through the Glass Doctor training system and has achieved a consistently high level of success through quality and professional service.

"I recently had the chance to sit down with Brad and his wife and asked a question, 'What do you think it takes to be successful in business?' His response was immediate and direct," says Dawson. "Brad told us failure was not an option. Brad and his wife are an example to all of us that hope, faith and perseverance can overcome obstacles and realize dreams."

"It has been a long road but a great ride," adds Roberson. "I've had a lot of help, and there's always someone who's been there before. I didn't expect to win, and I couldn't have gotten here by myself."

Roberson purchased the franchise in 2003.
