Guardian Automotive Adds Tucson Distribution
August 10, 2011
Automotive opened a new distribution center in Tucson, Ariz., on
Monday, August 8. This is the company's tenth distribution facility
in the United States.
"We chose Tucson because of existing customers in the region
who had been asking for such a center -- and that the region is
a growing one," says company spokesperson Earnest Thompson.
According to the company, the facility provides both day and night
delivery service for glass parts.
"Our distribution branches also carry a full-line of auto
glass installation tools, accessories and sundry items for autos
and other vehicles, including mirrors, mouldings, urethane and installation
supplies," says Scott Billings, director of distribution operations.
"Our newest facility in Tucson allows us to expand our distribution
capabilities to better serve our customers and expand in underserviced
parts of the nation. We look forward to servicing America's Southwest
and ensuring a quick response to our customers' needs."
Guardian expects to open two more distribution centers by the end
of the year, according to Thompson.
The new Tucson facility is located at 4221 S. Santa Rita Avenue,
