Guardian Automotive Products Signs on as a
Bronze Sponsor of Auto Glass Week
July 15, 2013
Auto Glass Week, the international event featuring auto
glass repair and replacement competitions, educational seminars
and an exhibition/extravaganza, is proud to announce that Guardian
Automotive Products, an industry leader whose heritage is rooted
in automotive glass, is sponsoring the event at the Bronze level.
As a Bronze Sponsor of Auto Glass Week, Guardian Automotive Products
will be featured on the show floor September 18-20, in booth
216, where they will "showcase our breadth of auto glass
offerings-from windshields to sundry items and everything in between-with
a focus on our specialty products, specifically glass systems for
RVs, buses, heavy trucks and fire and rescue equipment," according
to Scott Billings, Guardian Automotive's director of distribution
operations. Pre-register
now to see Guardian Automotive Products at Auto Glass Week.
As stated by Billings, "the company was formed in Detroit
in 1932, fabricating windshields for military vehicles. Today, our
focus on the automotive industry remains strong with a significant
OEM manufacturing presence and a growing distribution network."
Billings said the company chose to become a sponsor of Auto Glass
Week for a plethora of reasons.
"A show like Auto Glass Week provides us a great opportunity
to meet face-to-face with our customers and suppliers," stated
Billings.
"We are always looking for ways to build new business relationships
and strengthen existing partnerships and we believe Auto Glass Week
provides a good venue to make that happen," Billings added.
Auto Glass Week draws more than 1,000 attendees and features top
industry players on the show floor each year. The event will be
held in Tampa, Fla., at the Tampa Convention Center and the Tampa
Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina, September 18-20.
Billings explained that an event like Auto Glass Week is vital
to the auto glass industry, because "it is important that we
as an industry come together occasionally to recalibrate on the
issues we're all dealing with on a daily basis. It's easy to develop
tunnel vision when your inputs are generally coming from the same
sources. An event like Auto Glass Week exposes us to new thoughts
and potential solutions that can be difficult to find if you're
always stuck in the office."
Don't miss out on this event devoted to the auto glass industry.
