IGA Announces Appointment of New Board Members

The Independent Glass Association (IGA) has announced changes to its board of directors.

The board of directors has unanimously voted Matt Bailey, board member and chief executive officer of 20/20 Auto Glass in Greenville, S.C., as president of the IGA. Michael Driggs of Cape Cod, Mass., Cape and Island Glass has been appointed as a board member.

Bailey's election fills the position left open by Alan Epley following his sale of Southern Glass and Plastic in November 2012 and subsequent retirement. Driggs will fill Jim Short's board seat left open after the sale of his company, Klein-Dickert Co. Inc. also in November.

Bailey is a self-taught member of the auto glass repair and replacement (AGRR) industry possessing 12 years of experience including ownership of an automotive glass retail business for the past eight years. He has also helped with the 2012 South Carolina AGRR legislation.

Driggs is an industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience. He has worked at companies such as U.S. Auto Glass, Windshields America and Speedy Glass. Currently, Michael is the manager for the automotive glass unit of Cape and Island Glass.
