Kryger Glass to Instate Price Increase on September 13
September 2, 2010
Kansas City-based Kryger Glass has announced that it will “be forced to increase [its] pricing effective September 13, 2010, on the majority of the products [it] sells.” The announcement was made via an e-mail to customers from company president Bill Kryger yesterday. The prices take effect the same day as the new Fall 2010 NAGS Calculator becomes effective.
The company attributes the price increases to increases it is receiving “from all of the glass and sundry manufacturers.”
“In the past we have been able to absorb various price increases and energy surcharges by adjusting our own expenses and finding more efficient ways to service you without sacrificing the quality of service and product you have come to expect from Kryger Glass,” writes Kryger. “Rest assured, we will continue to look for these efficiencies as we develop our strategies for the coming months and years ahead.”
Kryger director of marketing Sheri Sealock declined to comment on the increase.
