Abrahams and Blaylock Take Top Honors for UK Master Fitter

Steve Abrahams took home the gold medal in this year's UK Master Fitter competition.

Steve Abrahams and Mark Blaylock, both Auto Windscreens' technicians, won first and second place, respectively, at this year's UK Master Fitter final competition held November 16-17, 2012.

Nigel Davies, managing director of Auto Windscreens, says, "We're so proud that Steve holds the title of UK Master Fitter, and that Mark followed closely behind in second place. These medals not only pay tribute to the fantastic technicians we have at Auto Windscreens, but also our superb support teams including technical and innovation as well as our fitting centre managers."

Abrahams and Blaylock were among the top six scoring technicians from seven regional heats in England, Northern Ireland and Scotland. At the final, which took place at The Skills Show, comptetitors were required to repair and replace a windshield as well as a side lite and rear window while being timed and examined by judges.
