Miramar, Fla., police currently are looking for the driver of a white, four-door car, believed to be a Dodge Charger, with possible windshield and front-end damage involved in the hit-and-run death of a six-year-old boy Wednesday night.

The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. near the 6200 block of Miramar Parkway. Witnesses say the car struck the boy, then swerved several times carrying the boy on the hood of the car before he finally fell or rolled off. The driver then ran over the child while fleeing the scene.
