
Mygrant Glass Signs on as Silver Sponsor of
Auto Glass Week

Auto Glass Week, the three-day international event featuring
auto glass repair and replacement competitions, educational seminars
and an exhibition/extravaganza, is proud to announce that Mygrant
Glass Co., one of the paramount auto glass distributors in the
United States, is sponsoring the event at the Silver level.
"Mygrant Glass Co., a third-generation family-owned business,
was founded in 1926 by Mike Mygrant's grandfather. The company transitioned
to auto glass distribution in 1952 under the ownership of Mike's
father. Mike and Cathy Mygrant aquired the company in 1979 from
Mike's father. They have expanded the company from a single location
in Hayward, Calif., to 63 locations nationwide. Mygrant Glass Co.

The company chose to sponsor Auto Glass Week 2013 because of one
key factor. "We have participated in Auto Glass Week as a sponsor
since 2010 and chose to continue as this is the single function
annually where we can meet with our customers, vendors and other
industry professionals. With the current economic conditions, there
are very few other industry functions and none that bring together
all facets of the auto glass repair and replacement industry,"
says Kidston.
Auto Glass Week draws more than 1,000 attendees and features top
industry players on the show floor each year. The event will be
held in Tampa, Fla., at the Tampa Convention Center and the Tampa
Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina, September 18-20.
Kidston offers some advice for competitors of at this year's event.
"Don't let the pressure affect your performance. Relax, have
fun and trust your skills," says Kidston.
