The NSG Group Expands Automotive Glazing Operations in Mexico

The NSG Group has announced the expansion of its automotive glazing capabilities in Mexicali, Mexico. The expansion involves construction of a new plant next to the existing plant to produce windshields and is scheduled to be completed in early 2012. The new plant will increase NSG’s capabity in Mexico by 30 percent and will provide around 160 new jobs.
Craig Naylor, president and CEO of the NSG Group said, “Mexico is an important market for us. The overall vehicle market in Mexico is increasing and Mexicali is strategically positioned to export to North, Central, and South America. This investment will allow us to meet an increasing demand for our value-added product range. It will also position us to enhance our new model introduction capabilities in line with our technology and quality commitments.”
