NWRA Elects Officers; Names Boyle President
The National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA) has elected officers for its 2009 board of directors.
Mike Boyle, president of GlasWeld Inc. in Bend, Ore., was elected president of the board. Boyle was elected to the board in 2008 and had served in that capacity in the past. He will be taking over the presidency from Paul Syfko of Glass Medic America, who now is past-president. Syfko also recently was re-elected to the board for another three-year term.
Kerry Wanstrath, president of Glass Technology in Durango, Colo., was re-elected as NWRA vice president, a position he has held since 2008.
Board member Wade Schlichenmayer of Delta Kits Inc. in Eugene, Ore., was elected by the board to serve as NWRA treasurer. Schlichenmayer is an account executive and lead trainer for Delta Kits and is serving his first term on the NWRA board.
Boyle says his first order of business is gathering the board members for a retreat in March to discuss the future of the association.
"For the first time we have a commitment for the board members to be there for that to talk about a long-term vision for the NWRA," Boyle told glassBYTEs.com/AGRR magazine.
