Pilkington North America has announced that it will open a new facility in Athens, Ala. The facility will supply front sidelite assemblies for the Honda Odyssey plant near Lincoln, Ala. It is scheduled to open in mid-July.

"The location will help us to better serve our automotive customers in the Southern region," says Gregory Thomas, value added general manager North America.

The operation will employ a team of eight to ten people.
