Former Reid President Jeff Cothery Says He'll Stay on in Consulting Role
August 23, 2011
Former Reid Tool Design Inc. president Jeff Cothery issued a statement to glassBYTEs.com™/AGRR™ magazine today about the company's recent placement into "constructive foreclosure."
Cothery "confirm[ed] the closing of Reid Tool Design Inc. to ensure the continuance of the Reid brand under new ownership."
"While economic problems forced changes at Reid Tool, my goal of serving Reid customers and the continuance of the Reid brand has been accomplished," says Cothery. "I look forward to working within the auto glass industry and the knife industry by representing Reid products and precision grinding services. The acquisition of the Reid assets by White River, a John Cammenga company, will provide additional opportunities for company growth and innovation. I look forward to seeing my customers in the near future and helping to develop new products for the company."
Cothery says he plans to re-locate to North Carolina, where two of his children live, and to maintain a consultant role with the new entity.
