Reports: Gerber Collision & Glass Looking
to Acquire Glass America by Jenna Reed, jreed@glass.com Though rumors are circulating with increasing frequency that Gerber Collision & Glass, a part of Canadian-based The Boyd Group, is looking to acquire Glass America, officials from Gerber and The Boyd Group have declined to comment. "A standard company policy is to never comment on market rumors," says Eddie Cheskis, CEO of Boyd, U.S. Glass Division. Brock Bulbuck, CEO and president of Canadian-based The Boyd Group, made a similar statement to glassBYTEs.com™/AGRR™ magazine editors. "It is our company policy to not comment on market rumors," he says. Meanwhile, Glass America officials had not yet responded to a request
