Extension of Safelite Hours Could Be on a Market-Based Basis, Says Feeney
July 21, 2009
Safelite Auto Glass currently is looking at expanding hours throughout
the United States, as reported previously by glassBYTEs.com/AGRR
magazine, but according to company president and chief executive
officer Tom Feeney, any possible extension of hours would likely
be done on a market-by-market basis. It would be based on the needs
of customers in each particular market. (CLICK

"Our commitment is to be available when customers need it and
we haven't finished any specific analysis, and it's unlikely that
it will be uniform or consistent throughout the United States,"
Feeney told glassBYTEs.com/AGRR magazine. "Some
markets we may need to be open seven days a week, other markets
we may need to be open until 11 o'clock at night."
He added, "We may need to be open at 5 in the morning in San
Francisco because customers can drop their cars off and still get
to work. We will have hours of operation when customers need us
"
