Extension of Safelite Hours Could Be on a Market-Based Basis, Says Feeney

Safelite Auto Glass currently is looking at expanding hours throughout the United States, as reported previously by glassBYTEs.com™/AGRR magazine, but according to company president and chief executive officer Tom Feeney, any possible extension of hours would likely be done on a market-by-market basis. It would be based on the needs of customers in each particular market. (CLICK HERE for related story.)

"Our commitment is to be available when customers need it and we haven't finished any specific analysis, and it's unlikely that it will be uniform or consistent throughout the United States," Feeney told glassBYTEs.com™/AGRR magazine. "Some markets we may need to be open seven days a week, other markets we may need to be open until 11 o'clock at night."

He added, "We may need to be open at 5 in the morning in San Francisco because customers can drop their cars off and still get to work. We will have hours of operation when customers need us … "
