Safelite AutoGlass CFO Recognized
September 14, 2009
Doug
Herron, chief financial officer, was recognized recently with an
honorable mention in Columbus Business First's CFO of the
Year contest. This award was presented last week and Herron was
recognized in the paper's Friday edition (CLICK
HERE to view).
Herron was one of 12 finalists, out of a pool of 60 nominees. He
received recognition in the large, privately-held company category.
He originally was nominated by Safelite president and chief executive
officer Tom Feeney.
The nominations were compiled by the newspaper and submitted to
four independent judges chosen to review the candidates. According
to the newspaper, judges considered several factors in their decision-making,
including financial management exhibited by the candidate, strategic
thinking and the CFO's contribution to the company's reputation.
