Safelite Launches Mobile Website
April 8, 2011
Safelite AutoGlass has launched a mobile version of Safelite.com
that allows customers to research service options and appointments
from a mobile phone.
The site was designed to help users find a Safelite location, find
contact mechanisms via phone or e-mail, diagnose their damage and
indicate their service date/time/location preferences.
Just last month, fellow Belron company AutoGlass, which is based
in the United Kingdom, launched
a related iPhone app to help users assess damage and whether
it can be repaired or replaced, and to allow customers to find a
location and book appointments online. The AutoGlass app is only
available through the United Kingdom version of iTunes.
United Kingdom-based Auto Windscreens, which is now part of Markerstudy
Group, also released a related app, the
"ChipChecker," last year.
