Safelite Foundation Awards Impact Grants to Non-Profit Groups

The Safelite AutoGlass Foundation has awarded $200,000 in Impact Grants to seven separate Columbus, Ohio, area non-profit groups, six receiving $25,000 and one receiving $50,000. This is the second year the Foundation has awarded its Impact Grants.
The recipient of the $50,000 grant was given to the Habitat for Humanity Mid-Ohio. In addition, the following groups received $25,000 grants from the foundation: Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Ohio; Mid-Ohio Foodbank; Boys and Girls Clubs of Columbus; Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio; Children’s Hunger Alliance; and LifeCare Alliance.
“We give back to charity because it’s simply the right thing to do. We believe in investing part of our profits into the betterment of mankind,” says Safelite president and CEO Tom Feeney. “We are looking forward to seeing the good work of our Impact Grant recipients and to building a long-term supportive partnership.”
