Several auto replacement glass and windshield manufacturers are eligible to receive financial distributions based on the Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act of 2000, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection documents released May 31, 2013.

The companies impacted include PPG Industries, Safelite Glass, Viracon/Curvlite Inc. and Visteon Corp.

The distribution is designed to offset any assessed duties received based on the countervailing duty order, an antidumping duty order, or a finding under the Antidumping Act of 1921.

The Federal Register shared the report from the U.S. Customs and Border.

"This document [Notice of Intent to Distribute Offset for Fiscal Year 2013] sets forth the case name and number of each order or finding for which funds may become available for distribution, together with the list of affected domestic producers, based on a list supplied by the United States International Trade Commission associated with each order or finding, who are potentially eligible to receive distribution," according to the Federal Register.

"This document also provides the instructions for affected domestic producers (and anyone alleging eligibility to receive a distribution) to file certifications to claim a distribution in relation to the listed orders or findings," the Federal Register document adds.
