State Auto Financial Reports Fourth Quarter 2008 Results

State Auto Financial Corporation reported yesterday a fourth quarter 2008 net loss of $0.6 million, or $0.02 per diluted share, versus net income of $41.7 million or $1.01 per diluted share for the fourth quarter of 2007. Net income from operations* per diluted share for the fourth quarter 2008 was $0.53, versus $0.99 for the same 2007 period.
