State Farm Spokesperson Issues Statement Regarding Ultra Bond Suit

State Farm corporate spokesperson Jeff McCollum issued a statement today to glassBYTEs.com™/AGRR magazine regarding the recently dismissed suit filed by Ultra Bond Windshield Repair and Replacement and its president, Richard Campfield. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit recently issued an opinion dismissing the suit, which dealt with long-crack repair. (CLICK HERE for related story.)

"We were pleased when the federal court unanimously upheld all the rulings in State Farm's favor last month," McCollum says. "We still believe the 10th Circuit Court made the correct decisions."

Ultra Bond has filed a petition for re-hearing in the case, and Campfield has said that if this request is denied, he intends to file another suit against State Farm and its glass claims administrator, LYNX Services, for allegedly not offering repair as an option to its insureds
