Vanfax Holds Open Houses Across Canada

Vanfax, a Canada-based distributor, hosted three separate open houses in its warehouse facilities in recent weeks. On March 11, an open house was held in Surrey, British Columbia; on March 12, an open house was held in Edmonton, Alberta; and on March 13, an open house was held in Calgary, Alberta.

Vanfax held its Edmonton open house on March 12.

At each one, the company had 80 to 120 customers attend, while suppliers were on-hand as well to show their latest products, according to Brian Clements, director of western Canada for Vanfax. Among the exhibitors on-hand were Dow Automotive, SRP, Sika, Precision Replacement Parts, Philips Lights, Equalizer Industries, Burco, Trico, Little Buddy and eDirectGlass.

Each open house opened with a warehouse tour showing how the company stores its products prior to distribution, along with how they are chosen, packed and moved throughout each facility.

eDirectGlass displayed its point-of-sale system on-site, while Vanfax showed its website, www.vanfax.com, for attendees to view. Little Buddy offered a demonstration of its system as well.
