Window Film
Wins Second Consecutive Azbee Award
July 29, 2013
The FILM'd video newscast, produced by AGRR magazine's
sister publication Window Film magazine, has been named the gold
winner for the prestigious 2013 Azbee Award from the American Society
of Business Publication Editors' (ASBPE) for the second consecutive
year. Window Film
received the national award for the Webcast Series
category.
"We are so pleased to be named the winner for this award,"
says Debra Levy, publisher of Window
Film. "Our staff put a great deal of work into providing
this newscast for our industry, so it is nice to see our efforts
recognized."
"It is such a compliment to have the opportunity to compete
alongside the best the media services/publishing industry has to
offer," adds Holly Biller, vice president of media services.
"We are simply thrilled to have our peers recognize our newscast
efforts for FILM'd two consecutive years in a row. Our editorial
and digital media services team collaborate and then produce what
we think is top-quality content in an aesthetically pleasing format,
so it's incredibly validating to win the newscast series Azbee and
find that our colleagues agree."
Editor Casey Neeley and video producer Chris Bunn were recognized
for the achievement at the 2013 ASBPE National Conference held in
Chicago July 26. Neeley is also a contributing editor for AGRR
magazine.
The national award is incredibly competitive as entrants are compared
against a variety of business-to-business publications spanning
various industries from major metro areas such as New York, Atlanta
and Washington D.C., as well as across the nation.
FILM'd is just one of many newscast series produced by Key Communications
Inc. Other web series include glassBYTEs.com, USGNN.com
and dwmmag.com.
