glassBYTEs.com™/AGRR magazine's sister news site and publication, www.USGNN.com™/USGlass magazine recently discovered that the contract for the glass for a portion of One World Trade Center (previously known as the Freedom Tower), has been awarded to an offshore manufacturer—despite a good deal of money and effort on the part of Pittsburgh-based PPG Industries and several other North American companies.
