Former Safelite CEO Wilson Named APU Solutions Chairman

Former Safelite AutoGlass president and chief executive officer Dan Wilson has joined APU Solutions, a software developer for the auto insurance, collision repair and alternative part industries, as chairman of the board.

"Dan's a winner who led the number-one vehicle-glass repair and replacement business in the United States, and now he's set on taking APU to the next level," says APU CEO Charles Lukens. "Few collision-repair people understand the interrelationship between insurers, repairers, and suppliers like Dan Wilson."

Wilson was named president and CEO of Safelite in 2003, and retired from the company in 2008. Prior to joining Safelite, Wilson was president of Western Auto-Parts America, and had previously held executive positions at Wal-Mart.
