UNITED KINGDOM — Auto Windscreens Responds After Major Hail Storm

United Kingdom-based Auto Windscreens has seen a major influx in business this week at its location near Leicestershire, England, where vehicles were battered this week by a major hail storm that included hail “the size of golf balls,” according to a statement from the company.
The company’s location in Coventry Road, Narborough, received 56 calls in just four hours yesterday due to the storm.
"We're about nine miles outside Leicester and we'd had some heavy rain but hadn't seen any hail, so we were shocked to suddenly receive calls from customers in Hinckley and the surrounding areas to say hail had shattered their front, back and even side windows,” says location manager Shaun Atton. "Some of the damage was caused by roof tiles being brought down by the storms, and vehicles in one particular road in Burbage were very badly affected. We've also been informed that glass in every single car in a staff car park in Hinckley was damaged by hail.”
He adds, “It's an unprecedented situation, and something I've never experienced during my nine years in the business ...”
