Zurich Financial Services Begins Selling Windshield Protection Product

Zurich Financial Services, an insurance-based financial services provider, has begun selling a new windshield protection product, Zurich Shield™ Windshield Protection manufactured by Diamon-Fusion®.

Windshield protection product sales are a new area for Zurich, given its focus has been predominantly on providing insurance and financial services.

The product is promoted as a "protective coating over a vehicle's windshield" and claims to make glass more "durable and resistant to normal cracks, chips and scratches" as well as changing the molecular composition of the treated surface. Promotional materials go on to say that the product, “strengthens the glass, helping prevent damage to the windshield and improving resale value.”

Zurich Shield Windshield Protection utilizes the technology of Diamon-Fusion, who says in their literature that this technology, “reduces the coefficient of friction and increases the possible weight load of glass by up to ten times, making it much more durable and resistant to normal cracks, chips, and scratches.”

Zurich is selling the new product through participating auto dealers and is sending consumers to their website to locate a dealer in their area.
