Contestant Close Ups: Robert "Rob" Grace and
magazine and the GlassBYTEs.com daily email newsletter are marking the
days until the Auto Glass Technician Olympics by introducing this year's
competitor field with a daily contestant profile.
Robert "Rob" Grace will be one of two contestants representing
AGRSS-registered Cindy Rowe Auto Glass at the Auto Glass Technician Olympics.
He will take on the other 28 contestants in the Auto Glass Technician
Olympics, pitting his 12 years of experience against the field.
Married with two kids, shop manager Grace enjoys golfing and spending
time with his family.
Jason Horne is also representing Cindy Rowe Auto Glass at the Auto Glass
Technician Olympics. He is making his second appearance at the competition.
When not installing auto glass, Horne, who is married with two kids, enjoys
golfing and working on
Both men will be using SIKA brand adhesives at the competition.
The Auto Glass Technician Olympics, now in its second year, is co-sponsored
by the Independent Glass Association (IGA) and AGRR magazine. The
event follows on the heels of the second annual Auto Glass Replacement
Safety Standard (AGRSS) Conference and both events, along with the National
Windshield Repair Association Conference and the Windshield Repair Olympics
are co-located this year with the Auto Glass Expo @ NACE.
The events will be held November 1-4, 2006 at the Mandalay Bay Convention
Center in Las Vegas.
