Harmon Solutions Group Announces Investment in Call Center Operations

Harmon Solutions Group (HSG) announces a major investment in its call center operations. Reflecting a multi-million dollar investment in its independent third party administration (TPA) business, HSG announced today that among other new enhancements it is rolling out a new claims administration platform that provides real-time on-line reporting of claims management information to its customers, and will include a web-based audit package to ensure vendor compliance. Jim West, former VP and CIO of Safelite Corp., will be providing assistance with the effort.

HSG also announced that it will assume all responsibilities for its call center operation in Eau Claire, Wis., marking an end to its relationship with APAC Customer Services to whom it had outsourced its call center services in the past.

HSG states that all current APAC employees at the Eau Claire facility will be offered positions with HSG with no disruption and the team will continue to occupy the same facility. A back-up call center also has been established for disaster recovery purposes. The transition is scheduled to take place before July 2004.
