SEMA Gets Underway Today; NACE Begins Tomorrow

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show 2005 got underway today at the Las Vegas Convention Center, staging an even bigger show than last year. This year, the display cars aren't contained to just the front walkway of the convention center, but can be seen all the way out to what used to be shuttle bus parking. Car enthusiasts and auto industry experts from around the world converge on the city to see what is new and hot in the automotive aftermarket industry.

Auto glass companies exhibiting at SEMA this year include C.R. Laurence and Visteon, as well as numerous window film manufacturers such as Bekaert, CPFilms and Commonwealth Laminating and Coating. SEMA is a four day-event and will close on Friday, November 4, 2005.

The National Auto Body Conference and Expo (NACE) begins its show for the auto collision industry tomorrow, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. It runs through Saturday, November 5.

Stay tuned to glassBYTES for more information on the shows and which companies are exhibiting.
