General Motors Issues Service Bulletin Over Possible Sunroof Breakage

General Motors management says the sunroofs on their Chevrolet Cruze 2015-14 and Buick Regal 2015 may break, according Cars.com. Several owners complained that their sunroofs shattered to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The report says, “the glass sunroof panel can break. Dealers will inspect the sunroof glass panel and replace it if necessary.” Continue reading

NHTSA Upgrades Kia Sorento Investigation over Claims of Sunroof Breakage

The National Highway Safety Traffic Administration has upgraded its investigation into 2011-2013 Kia Sorentos for possible “sunroof implosion” by opening an “engineering analysis.” The NHTSA Office of Defect Investigation (ODI) has now received 26 complaints on sunroof breakage, up from 15 previously reported when the initial investigation was opened in October 2013.
