Arizona Senate Committee Votes No to Glass Bill

The Arizona Senate’s Military Affairs and Public Safety Committee voted no against Bill 2500, “Unlawful Practices: Auto Glass Repair” on Thursday. The bill would have meant criminal penalties for violations of the legislation. It was approved by the state House of Representatives. The bill will not move forward from the Senate and effectively dies.

Arizona House Passes Automotive Glass Bill

In a quick action that took some by surprise, the Arizona House of Representatives passed Bill 2500, “Unlawful Practices: Auto Glass Repair” on Thursday by a vote of 53 to 7.

Arizona Automotive Glass Bill May Soon to Go to House for Vote

It appears Arizona House Bill 2500, “Unlawful Practices: Auto Glass Repair” could be heading to the House of Representatives for a vote as early as next month. The bill is designed to amend the insurance statute to regulate the marketing of automobile glass.
